This is a collection of pictures taken from the terrace of my sister's home in Goa, India.
These were taken towards the end of October 2009 around 0615 hrs. The fishing trawlers are
about to return home.
All the pictures have been taken by the author.

This is at Dona Paula, Shalini. They have a beautiful flat on the third floor that overlooks the sea.

Nice pictures Mr. Singh. I've heard that Goa is a good stopover for travelers to other parts of India. Looks like a nice spot for sailing. Is sailing popular there?

Goa is easily accessible from Europe because of the Condor flights. Within India it is well-connected to Mumbai and Delhi, the two main gateways into India. It is laid-back and beautiful, has some fabulous food (Britto's is one place I would recommend for seafood), is easy on the wallet, has some nice hotel properties too. Yes they do have sailing but not in the way you probably know it in the US. The number of sailboats would be quite limited I think. I am sure Jaspal, Shalini and my other countryfolk would be able to add to what I have written.

beautiful pictures so close to ones i've put up of our cottage....only difference there's no sea (but of clouds)
